512GB Xbox Series X SSD expansion card found• Eurogamer.net

Before the official release, the 512GB extended SSD for Xbox Series X/S has been popped up online.

The storage capacity of the storage expansion card manufactured by Seagate is about half of the existing 1TB card, and it has now appeared in retailers in France and the United States (thanks to Windows Central).

Without an official announcement, we don't know the exact price of the 512GB model, but we expect the suggested retail price of the 1TB model to be about half of £220. There are no signs of any models with more storage space.

The promotional material also shows a USB-based SSD storage option that can be used to transfer games back and forth to your main SSD option. (You can’t run Xbox Series X/S games from a USB storage device, but it’s much easier to shuttle them back and forth than to download them again.)

Currently, the Seagate 1TB SSD card is the only size that can be used to expand the space of the Xbox Series X/S. (Xbox Series X has 1TB of built-in SSD memory, while Series S has 512GB.) Like old memory cards, it just plugs into the console's memory expansion slot.
