By 2022, Samsung plans to release at least 52 smartphone models. The new product line will include the Galaxy A73, which should be one of the advanced models of the Galaxy A series and will be unveiled in the second quarter of next year. Letsgodigital shared the images and features of smartphones with a broad audience.

The company will not make serious design changes to the Galaxy A73. Samsung prefers moderation and does not change the appearance of its devices frequently and significantly. The Galaxy A73 will adopt the same design as its predecessor. The back cover should be plastic, with a USB Type-C port, a speaker, a microphone and a SIM card slot at the bottom.

On the front panel, a flat AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6.7 inches, FullHD resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate is installed. The fingerprint scanner is built into the screen, and the housing itself has passed IP67 certification. BOE or Huaxing Optoelectronics will produce displays for Galaxy A73. At present, the company has not yet determined the manufacturer of the panel, and testing of test samples is in progress.

The front camera resolution can be 12 megapixels or 32 megapixels. The smartphone will run the Android 12 operating system with One UI 4.0 plug-in. Galaxy A73 should be based on Snapdragon 750G, and will provide 6/8 GB of RAM, a 128/256 GB flash drive and a 5000 mAh battery that can be quickly charged by 25 watts. The main camera is a quadruple camera. As the main sensor, they will provide a 108-megapixel ISOCELL HM2 sensor with a size of 1 / 1.52 inches.

Samsung's smartphone shipments in 2022 are expected to total approximately 334 million units. Among them, the company will produce about 285 million units on its own; another 49 million units will be produced by third-party contractors.

Of the total number of devices, about 54 million will fall on the flagship devices of the Galaxy S family. Among them, 14 million units will be Galaxy S22; 8 million units-Galaxy S22 and 11 million units-Galaxy S22 Ultra.

The output of flexible screen Galaxy Z devices will increase: According to the plan, the total delivery volume will reach about 13 million units. On this line, approximately 4 million units will fall on the Galaxy Z Fold devices; and 9 million units-on the Galaxy Z Flip.

Next year, Samsung is expected to ship 176 million units in a lower price range. The target production of mid-range models is 91 million vehicles.
